Here’s my picks

Two words
Dundalk Derby.

So form goes right our the window that’s means SOM’s recent win and performance over the Gers will count for nothing as soon as the whistle goes in tonight’s game.

They’ll miss Keith McLaughlin through suspension a massive loss and it will effect the way the O’Mahonys set up too.

The Gaels got over the Blues the last day and that will give them massive confidence but they know they have a massive task on their hands.

The Gaels will have a slight edge around the middle with Crilly, Stewart and a fit again Sean McCann.

However SOM have a ferocious work ethic all over the pitch. Their is a unity about the way they link up and play for each other but I think the Dundalk opposition will throw them. They’d have far rathered played the Blues. An ultra tight game awaits expect a defensive slugfest tonight.

Pick

Toss of a coin, Gaels.

Preview

Head line act in Haggardstown anocht.

This game has history. It goes back to last years meeting between the sides where the Dreadnots won the game but Darren Clarke was seriously injured at the end of it.

That will add spice and some fuel to Ardee’s motivation.

The game itself on paper looks to favour the Seasiders, they just about got over Kilkerley but Kilkerley are no slouches while Ardee got over the Jocks in two. That will stand to them but the freshness of a two week build up for Clogher will be priceless.

Pick

Dreadnots
