Louth Football Championship’s RD2 2014 (6)

And IFC Doubler tonight

Here’s my previews

This is the Cuchalainn Gaels first Championship game so tonight is an achievement in itself. They have shown great growth and best of luck to them going forward.
However the Mitchells will show no mercy, they surprised everyone last week with a win over the Kevins.
They’ll still be on a high and they should make it two wins out of two tonight.

Plunketts and Seans will not be as straightforward as many people think. The Churchtown men are notoriously hard to beat. The strong second half display by the Plunketts last week showed they have the composure and subs bench to get over the line again tonight.

The Joes come in fresh against the Naps who according to reports should have held on for a win over the Fechins last week.
It is too close for me to call really as it really could go either way you’d think the Joes should win as they are top of Division 2 but the Naps have a game under their belts and shocked me last week.

Clans and SOM has the makings of a classic and is my pic of the games tonight.
The Sean O’Mahony’s were highly impressive last week against the DYI they dominated matters really and should have won by more.
The Clans will be a massive step up and I can really see them giving the point road men a real lash.
Alot of pride is at stake in this Dundalk Derby so victory will be well earned and SOM have a steely look in their eye to make it two Dundalk wins out of two.
