Semi finals are over
team7
only finals left to play here’s the team of the week

Defence

defecne7
Looks like a proper goalie and Allan Matthews carries himself like a good one, had little to do but what he did, he did well.
Roche’s Joe Bishopis a tidy corner back has been all year. Tullyallen full back Andrew Mooney didn’t deserve to be on the losing side on Friday night. Keep SOM’s inside men quiet Barry Faulkner couldn’t be faulted for Cloghers shock defeat.

Middle 8

Defensive wing forward Padraig Butterly held his nerve when the finbarrs nerves were rattling. Such is the quality of forwards again there is an over-spill into the half back line but 8 points and precision free taking from Conor Finnegan sent SOM into their first senior final ever he has to be in the team! SOM Wingback Gary Mulligan got forward and score when they were on top in the first half. crucial.

May lack size for inter-county midfield but Billy Smith is as exciting a player there is at club level.
Big and strong and launches the ball forward at every opportunity Daniel O’Connell drove the Roche to the first junior final in 60 years.

Forwards

Conall McKeever This man is on fire surely he’ll guide the Clans to intermediate success?
Just off the plane from asia and back again Conor Grimes showed his superb talents. The mercurial JJ Quigley scored a hell of a goal only JJ can score! that gave the Clans a much needed lift at the time.

A real sharpshooter with loads of ability Barry O’Hare will need to marked tight in the junior final. Speaking of junior final, William Woods will look forward to the big day and leading the line for Togher.
Took on the scoring load left behind by Pepe, Liam Shevlin manfully took the challenge to the Dundalk men.

So there it is, week 7 team what do you think?

Conor Crawley destroyed the Dreadnots scoring a goal and setting up at least 4 scores. A few more SOM players should be on that team
