in Club

Finalists were made last weekend

here is the team that reflects that.

Defence

Just when you thought the Raths were about to pile the pressure on SOM Kevin Brennan saved a vital peno!
Clans defender Paul Crewe makes the team again…he was a tower of strength.  David Finn held the line superbly for Htown will need to do it all again and more the next day.
Defender by trade Sean Halpenny came up and kicked the winning point in an epic replay win for Staboo.

Middle

Ray Finnegan He still has that bit of magic. Back to form back to full fitness driving force for kilkerley Cathal Bellew. Young minor Patrick Taaffe doesnt’t know when he’s beaten great trait to have.
Strong and Athletic performance from SOM’s Conor Martin gave them the platform for victory. Pats are back in the senior final and who else but PK lead them there.

Forwards

forward6
Another draw and another strong performance for Clans forward Conall McKeever. Leading the attack for Kilkerley Shane Lennon was his powerful self he had an in form Sean Handbeside him, they’ll be hard beat in the intermediate final!
Johnny Connolly had a hand in all three of SOM’s goals. The man that makes the Pats tick Karl White makes the team this week. The Marys will be back and Alan Kirk in the first half showed why!

I don’t think many people around the county would have heard of Patrick Taaffe and Johnny Connolly yet, they make the team? James Fagan was also unlucky not to make the team too but you don’t have to be a top scorer to make the team.

Dan mc keown was the best forward for kilkerley hands down for kilkerley scoring 2 goals. You just pick known names from clubs and throw a bit of narrative on top. If ur not at the games, dont bother doing tow.
