Beating Kildare 2-14 to 2-11!
Well done lads and thanks for giving the county a boost!

Their is continuity from last season, as the  same management team is in place.

Experienced trio of Eugene Judge, Eamon Dunne and Ken Rooney will have learned alot from last season so expect us to be well prepared and well equipped for battle.

Players to look out for from Louth are:
Firstly, tons of talent on this Louth minor team interesting to see how they compete with the best in Leinster.

Newtown Blues duo up front, Ciaran Downey man of the match in the minor final while Ross Nally son of Colm has built a fine reputation for himself as a dangerous forward.

Wing back Niall Sharkey was on the Louth senior panel in the O’Byrne cup for experience.

Left footer, Tadhg McEnaney was Key to DLS winning the Lennon Cup he has experience from last year too…Kilkerley men at the edge of the square for Louth tend to do well.

Around the middle, Ryan Ward and Captain Matthew Corcoran will look to provide a decent platform for our dangerous forwards.

Summary
Kildare will be strong, they usually are at this level. Winners in 2013 and beaten leinster finalists in 2014, 4 of that team will start today. They were beaten in the minor league final by Dublin see here

Our minor set up on the otherhand doesn’t boast that reputation, but this bunch of lads have the ability and depth of squad to cause a wee surprise!
