Here is the lowdown
on our next opponents Waterford
without further ado waterford whispers ahead of Sunday
Past
We’ve not played Waterford since 2011.
It was on the that final day we beat them 1-11 to 11 to gain promotion up to Division 2.
A virtuoso 5 point display as usual from PK, saw us through on the day.
We then went on to win the Division 3 title!
Present
Only one player that started that day will start this Sunday, our captain Adrian Reid.
Brian Donnelly did start also and Derek Maguire and Colm Judge came off the bench.
Waterford have 4 players that are still involved their captain also Tommy Pendergast, two O’Gormans and Padraig Hurney.
Future
They were beaten by Wicklow last weekend.
Paul Whyte is their scorer in chief mainly from dead balls (4f 145′ last weekend) but the former Irish underage striker will need to be given close attention from play too.
They conceded 1-13 to Wicklow and indiscipline cost the Deise on the day….8 of Wickla’s scores were from free’s while corner back Tadhg Ó’hUallacháin received a black card two yellows aswell.
We’ll have to put them under that pressure at the back again if we’re to make inroads on Sunday
MY Team coming tomorrow
