and It was all about us last night….

We played superbly at times and suicidally at other times but in the end We got the win.

The problem dare I say it again, because I kind of hinted at it yesterday is, that we have possibly too many skillful footballers.

Because of our abundance of flair players, Our attitude is very very positive. too positive perhaps?

Carlow for example are no world beaters but still notched 2-10! Their halfback line accounting for 1-4, nearly half their tally!

You score 2-10 we’ll score 3-11 is fine and It’s a great attitude for our lads to have but I fear that we could get caught out against a better side.

This bunch of lads has great potential a few tweaks here and there and we could be on to something special.
Longford next Wednesday night away in Newtowncashel gives us the perfect opportunity to improve.
