Winning 2-6 to 9…Glen Emmets were worthy finalist and last minute heroics from Duffy excellent save right at the death kept them in it.
Man of the match for me was Stephen Keeley, On the forty he was the difference between the two sides his second goal and all round work rate ticked all the boxes.

Officially, Robert Brodigan got it and I won’t begrudge him he was a colossus around the middle and caught a mountain of ball, he has a big future ahead of him.

For Tullyallen, Conor Grimes lacked the supporting cast around him and being positioned away from goals didn’t help either…Eamonn Mullen kicked superb free’s and the score of the game with his left foot!

The Plunketts will now look to Leinster they will play the Dublin Champions. They should no fear as their defence is tight and well marshaled by captain Sean Brassil.

Well done to all round Mell.
