High octane stuff from the weekends finals.

Here’s the team of the week

Ardee goalkeeper Peter Duffy nearly pulled off a match winning save at the death.

Once again O’Mahonys man markers are in the teamMickey Clarke and Kurt Murphy superb throughout.
O’mahonys full back Ronan Byrne saved his best game till the final too. He may have lost but Eimhin Keenan has a fine future, picked up mountainous amount of breaking ball.
Leader John O’Brien adapted his position and still performed. Ultra fit Liam Dullaghan had an excellent battle with Daire McConnon all afternoon.

He loves the gaelic grounds doesRonan Carroll,a fine performance from him. SOM workhorse Shane Brennan was captain fantastic on the day.

The Ardee goal was move of the game and was finished by Mark Fay in excellent fashion.

Wing forward Stephen Fisher is key to the Point Road men for his link up play alone.
Ardee’s Dean Matthews was a threat inside all day.
He’s now picked up man of the match in both senior and intermediate finals his dead ball skills was the usual perfection but Conor Finnegan’s ball in for the match winning goal was pin point!
The big man Conor Crawley got the goal to win it, need I say any more.
Special mention to Sam Mulroy minor winning captain and man of the match for the jocks, a powerhouse display and ably assisted by Conor Whelan too.
