Team of the weekend

actually early for a change.

SOM can thank Kevin Brennan for being in the final 4 with the save of the Championship in the near darkness of Dowdallshill.

Jim McEneaney got shut down by and frustrated by Kurt Murphy all afternoon.
The Marys Full back John Bingham was the rock they clung on to versus the jocks.
Very impressive at left half Dermot Campbell‘s driving runs up the flanks were crucial for Clogher.
Possie McDonagh made hay while the Mairtins were in the ascendency on Saturday night.
Classy John O’Brien led the O’Mahonys defensive masterclass while Liam Dullaghan was highly influential too.

Loves a job detail does Mick Fanning and he carried out the marking job of Ronan Carroll to perfection.
Not his usual position but Pepe Smith changed the game when he went out there.

Stephen Fisher seemed to pop up with some vital points for the O’Mahonys every time they were needed.
Just like Conor Campbell who actually took a huge hit from three kilkerley men before punching a point over the bar.
Drifting inside and outside Will the Marys be able to handle Sam Mulroy the next day?

Nerves of steal Alan Kirk clawed a replay for Ardee.
Shane Lennon did everything he could for Kilkerley in a mammoth display. He had Tadhg McEneaney ably stepping up inside too in their narrow loss.
