Tonight our juniors have the chance to raise the spirits of the county.
Leinster junior Semi final at home in Dowdallshill is the perfect opportunity.
isn’t it?
Because Shane O’Hanlon, Eoghan Lafferty and Robbie Brodigan came on as subs on Sunday in the Kildare Massacre it means they are ineligible for tonight.
For some fans that’s another stick to beat AOR with!
Two of those 3 weren’t involved only Shane O’Hanlon I reckon Manager Kieran Maguire will start Daniel O’Connell as a result.
Aswell as those players being out it was always going to be a tough ask.
Last year, in the same venue Cavan beat us quite easily plus they won the ulster U21 championship again so expect a few of them to be involved.
However, we’ll look to develop a few players and possibly bring them into the senior panel.
Gea McSorley, He will be the one to watch again tonight! Who knows what his pace could have done in Croke park on Sunday.
Another name I’ll throw into the hat for a call up would be Anthony Williams…Strong powerful runner and well able to drive forward from corner back.
